 The
KITA Kollection is a series of books written by Laurelle Adrian,
KITA's Creator. They were created to help Kids recognize they matter
and to encourage them to learn and use the Three
KITA Rules. The target audience is elementary school
aged Kids, yet everyone will benefit from these stories.
With fun, humor, and the irresistible KITA "characters",
each book teaches a specific lesson about a troubling issue today, such as ,
Negativity, Prejudice, Violence, Drugs, and Lack of Compassion, Love and
Respect.
KITA's purpose is to make the universe a better place to
live. KITA visits various planets in the universe where he discovers challenging
situations. In each book, KITA uses the Three KITA Rules to solve the challenges
that different "characters" face on their specific planets. KITA also visits various
locations on Earth. He relates his experiences to challenges humans face on Earth
today.
Each book has a review page that encourages parents, teachers,
and Kids to discuss their thoughts and questions relating to the subject of the
story.
